User Guide for the VPS TOT K Control Panel (Virt Fusion Panel)

When using VPS TOT K at TotHost, you will manage it through the Virt Fusion control panel. This article will guide you through operations with the Virt Fusion Panel.

1. Logging into the Virt Fusion Panel

When you purchase a VPS TOT K, you can access the control panel directly via the “Open Control Panel” button. Here, the system will automatically log you in and open your service control panel.

Alternatively, you can log in manually using your account information. To display your login credentials, select the “Reset Login Credentials” button.

2. Control Panel Interface

  • Dashboard: The Dashboard displays an overview of your account, including active servers and tasks that have been performed.
  • Server List: A summary of your TOT K servers.
  • SSH Keys: If you use an SSH Key to access your Linux VPS, your SSH Keys will be stored here.

 

3. Account Information

Select the Account section on the right to view your account information. Your account details will be displayed as follows:

You can change the following information:

  • Name: The display name on the panel
  • Email Address: If you want to use a different email, the system will send a verification code to the new email address when you change it.
  • Time Zone: Choose a time zone that suits your region.
  • Language: The panel supports various languages such as English, Vietnamese, Chinese, etc., for you to choose from.

 

4. Basic Functions on the Virt Fusion Control Panel

After accessing the Virt Fusion control panel, you can perform actions on the VPS TOT K as instructed below with just a few clicks:
On the Overview page, you can Shut Down, Restart, or Power Off the server via the buttons on the control panel.

4.1. Reinstall OS for VPS TOT K

You can reinstall the operating system for the server by pressing the red Rebuild button. You will need to confirm the notification to proceed with the VPS reinstallation.

When you Reinstall/Rebuild, all your data will be completely erased. If you want to cancel the reinstallation, select the Cancel Rebuild button.

Next, the reinstallation information includes:

  • Name: The server name you set, or you can select Random to generate any name.
  • Hostname: The hostname (optional)
  • Timezone: The time zone
  • Operating System: Choose from the list of available operating system versions.

You can configure VNC and DNS in the Advanced Options section.
Select the green Install with (the OS version you chose) button to begin the reinstallation process.

Note: For Linux operating systems, the SSH Keys section will appear, where you can use your existing SSH Key or create a new one by selecting Add Key -> Generate Key Pair and saving it.
If you don't know how to use SSH Keys, please refer to the guide: How to Use SSH Keys.
If you don't need an SSH Key and wish to log in with a regular password, select Install Without.

The system will take a few minutes to reinstall the VPS, and once completed, a new login information email will be sent to your email address.

4.2. Enable VNC Access

If your server does not have VNC access enabled, go to Options and select "Enable VNC Access"

Once successful, the control panel will display as follows:

4.3. Create a New Password for VPS

If you forget the password to access your VPS, you can select the "Reset Password" button to receive a new password.

The system will send you a confirmation message about resetting the password; select Reset to agree.

Please wait a few minutes for the system to send the new password to your email.

 

4.4. Change DNS

To change the DNS through the TOT K control panel, go to the Network section and scroll down to the IPv4 Public DNS Resolvers part. Then select the Primary and Secondary DNS as desired.
Once you have made your selections, you need to Restart the VPS to apply the new DNS.

4.5. Enable/Disable IPv6 Address

The IPv6 address can be enabled/disabled in the Network section. To enable it, toggle the Enable option.

Next, a confirmation message saying "Are you sure you want to modify the server network?" will appear to confirm your action to Enable/Disable the IPv6 address. Select Save to apply.
